Driving Revenue and Reducing Provider Burnout with Screening & Autonomous Coding

In late 2023, a community health center partnered with us to enhance efficiency and improve patient care by implementing two of our core solutions:

  • Screening Solution – enabling patients to complete necessary screenings on a private tablet while in the waiting room.
  • Autonomous Coding – automatically assigning CPT codes through an intelligent workflow that mines data directly from the chart.

The community health center’s initial focus was administering the PHQ-9 (a screening and assessment tool for depression) through our Screening Solution, though they have now expanded the offered screenings.

The impact was measurable and immediate:

  • 2024: Increased insurance payments totaling $229,000 (excluding quality incentive dollars, IPA payments, and ACO shared savings).
  • 2025 (as of June): Already $123,000 in payments, with additional revenue expected by year-end.

Beyond revenue, the CHC experienced:

  • Reduced provider burnout by minimizing EMR “clicks.”
  • More personal patient visits, with providers able to focus on meaningful conversations instead of data entry.

Improved operational efficiency, with fewer manual workflows for clinical staff.
